Порівняльний аналіз політичних та ідеологічних мотивів зовнішньої політики Абдул Гаміда ІІ і молодотурків

Abstract

У статті здійснено порівняльний аналіз політичних та ідеологічних мотивів зовнішньої політики султана Абдул Гаміда ІІ та Молодотурків. Розглянуто вплив ісламістської орієнтації султана на його дипломатичні стратегії, зокрема прагнення до зміцнення ролі халіфату в мусульманському світі. У свою чергу, проаналізовано секулярні та націоналістичні пріоритети зовнішньої політики Молодотурків, їх прагнення до модернізації імперії та зближення з європейськими державами. Акцентовано увагу на трансформації зовнішньополітичних пріоритетів Османської імперії в умовах кризи її державності наприкінці ХІХ – на початку ХХ століття.The article presents a comparative analysis of the political and ideological motives of the foreign policy of Sultan Abdul Hamid II and the Young Turks. The influence of the Sultan's Islamist orientation on his diplomatic strategies, in particular the desire to strengthen the role of the Caliphate in the Muslim world, is examined. In turn, the secular and nationalist priorities of the Young Turks' foreign policy, their desire to modernize the empire and rapprochement with European states are analyzed. Attention is focused on the transformation of the foreign policy priorities of the Ottoman Empire in the conditions of the crisis of its statehood in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
