Номінації предметів побуту тюркського походження у сучасній українській мові

Abstract

У статті розглядається виникнення номінацій предметів побуту, запозичених із тюркських мов в українську. Проведено аналіз іншомовних джерел і зроблено спробу відновити первинну мову-джерело походження цих номінацій. Охарактеризовано слова, які зазнали найменших семантичних і граматичних змін у процесі освоєння мовою-реципієнтом й активно вживаються в українській мові.The article discusses the origin of the of nominations of household items, borrowed from the Turkic languages in Ukrainian. The article considers the role and functioning of originally Turkish words in Ukrainian proceeding from monuments of the Ukrainian, Slavic, and Turkic literary writings. In particular, the history of occurrence of the words “filizhanka (cup)”, “dyvan (sofa)”, “kazan (cauldron)”, “torba (bag)”, “kýlym (carpet)”, “bychák (small knife)” in Ukrainian are being traced. Investigating the etymology of such words, in most cases we come to the construction of hypotheses that are more or less subjective. Defining the tasks of Slavic and Turkologists who were engaged in research of Turkism in Ukrainian. Since it’s usually hard to get solid documentary materials on the history of Turkic words, it’s hard to get scientific documentation, observation, hypothesis. The result is a kind of abstraction, as if one of the possible solutions of some indefinite equation. The science here turns into art. The analysis of foreign language sources and an attempt to restore the original language-source of the nomination. We consider the words that have undergone the smallest changes and remained in the Ukrainian language in active use.В статье рассматривается возникновение номинаций предметов быта, заимствованных из тюркских языков в украинский. Проведен анализ иноязычных источников и сделана попытка восстановить первоначальный язык-источник происхождения этих номинаций. Дана характеристика слов, которые претерпели наименьшие семантические и грамматические изменения в процессе освоения языком-реципиентом и активно используются в украинском языке.
