Abstract
У статті охарактеризовано інститут омбудсмана у механізмі захисту прав і свобод
людини та громадянина, а також досліджуються характерні риси та особливості його
діяльності. Сформульовані авторські пропозиції щодо вдосконалення інституту Уповноваженого
Верховної Ради України з прав людини.
The article described the ombudsman institution in the mechanism of protection of rights and freedoms of citizens, and investigated the characteristics and features of its activities. Author formulated proposals for improvement of the Representative of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Human Rights.
