Abstract
В статті аналізується освітня та наукова діяіьність видатного діяча українського
відродження, відомого в усьому світі вченого, перекладача, редактора, видавця, релігійного проповідника, автора перекладу Біблії на українську мову, поета, прозаїка, дослідника скарбів рідної мови і культури, організатора культурно - освітнього і церковного життя Івана Огієнка (митрополита Іларіона).
The article examines the educational and scientific activities of prominent figures of Ukrainian revival, the world-renowned scholar, editor, publisher, religious preacher, author of the Bible into the Ukrainian language, the poet, researcher o f the Ukrainian language and culture, the organizer o f the church life of Ivan Ogienko (Metropolitan Hilarion).
