Культурна спадщина та її атрактивність як ресурс розвитку сучасних туристично-рекреаційних дестинацій (на прикладі Київщини)

Abstract

У центрі дослідження – культурна спадщина України (матеріальна і нематеріальна), яка в сучасних непростих соціокультурних умовах є не лише інструментом збереження національної ідентичності, а й стратегічним ресурсом розвитку туристично-рекреаційних дестинацій, здатним активізувати локальний розвиток, формувати позитивний імідж регіонів і забезпечити конкурентоспроможність на туристичному ринку. Київщина в цьому контексті виступає показовим прикладом: у сфері культурної спадщини регіон має значний потенціал, атрактивний ресурс якого заснований на давній історії, сакральній архітектурі, фольклорно-етнографічній спадщині, козацькому минулому та музейному комплексі; та має не лише охоронну, а й економічну та креативну цінність. Атрактивність (привабливість) культурної спадщини як ресурсу розвитку туристично-рекреаційних дестинацій розглядається через кілька ключових параметрів: унікальність об’єкта (автентичність, історична цінність); емоційний і естетичний вплив на відвідувача; символічне значення та «вписаність» у культурну пам’ять; доступність і сервісну інфраструктуру; можливість для глибокого культурного досвіду (інтерактивність, участь у ритуалах, святах, майстер-класах). Акцент робиться на локальних громадах, сучасних технологіях (аудіогіди, цифрова картографія, мобільні застосунки) та якісному культурному продукті – це є ключовим аспектом сталого використання спадщини Київщини. Наголошується, що культурна спадщина Київщини – це не лише архів історії, а жива тканина сучасної ідентичності, що потребує нових способів актуалізації, естетизації та включення у простір туристично-рекреаційної взаємодії. Її атрактивний ресурс полягає у здатності викликати глибокі емоційні переживання, формувати унікальний досвід і відкривати регіон через призму культурного багатства, що створює перспективи для Київщини стати взірцем інтегрованого культурного туризму на національному та міжнародному рівнях.This study explores Ukraine’s cultural heritage – both tangible and intangible – as a key resource for the development of contemporary tourism and recreational destinations. In today’s complex sociocultural environment, cultural heritage not only contributes to the preservation of national identity but also serves as a strategic asset that fosters local development, enhances regional image, and strengthens competitiveness in the tourism sector. The Kyiv region exemplifies this dynamic: its cultural heritage sector offers substantial potential, with a rich resource base rooted in ancient history, sacred architecture, folklore and ethnographic heritage, the legacy of the Cossacks, and a rich museum complex. This heritage holds not only protective but also economic and creative value. The attractiveness of cultural heritage as a resource for the development of tourism and recreational destinations is examined through several key parameters: the uniqueness and authenticity of heritage sites; their emotional and aesthetic impact; their symbolic importance and integration into cultural memory; the quality of accessibility and supporting infrastructure; and the capacity to provide immersive cultural experiences, such as participation in rituals, festivals, and master classes. Special attention is given to the role of local communities, the application of modern technologies (e.g., audio guides, digital maps, mobile applications), and the production of high-quality cultural content, all of which are essential for the sustainable and innovative use of heritage in the Kyiv region. Importantly, the cultural heritage of the Kyiv region is presented not as a static historical archive but as a living and evolving fabric of contemporary identity. It requires new strategies for actualization, aesthetic presentation, and meaningful integration into tourism and recreational experiences. Its attractiveness lies in its ability to evoke deep emotional responses, offer unique visitor experiences, and present the region through the lens of cultural depth and diversity. This positions the Kyiv region as a potential model for integrated cultural tourism at both the national and international levels.
