Abstract

Розглянуто Франкову оцінку ролі І. Нечуя-Левицького у становленні національної ідеї українського народу. Значну увагу приділено аналізу праці «Ювілей Івана Левицького (Нечуя)», де автор звертається до постаті письменника крізь призму історії.In this article is examined the Ivan Franko’s opinion about I. NechuyLevytsky’s role in the incipience of the Ukrainian national idea. The particular attention was paid to the analysis of the work “Ivan Levytsky’s (Nechuy’s) Jubilee”, where the author refers to the writer’s figure in the light of history, reassesses his ideological works, which had raised the issues of social and national liberation of the Ukrainian nation
